New Coach Named for the 2012 Season

The BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League is proud to announce the addition of Garrett Harris, who played two years at Meridian CC under Coach Chris Rose and two years at the University of South Alabama under Coach Mark Calvi, the national pitching coach of the year in 2010 while serving on the staff at national champion South Carolina.  Coach Harris is originally from New Hope and will serve as the head coach of the Golden Triangle Jets for the 2012 season.

Blake Woodruff, a 3 time All-State player in high school and a former NEMCC Tiger, who is currently serving as the assistant at New Hope will serve as Coach Harris' assistant.

We welcome them to the league as we continue to gear up for what promises to be another outstanding season!!!

Stacy Hester to Coach in CSBL
Long time high school head coach Stacy Hester has agreed to coach the Golden Triangle Jets during the 2011 BNA Bank Cotton States season.  Coach Hester, a pitcher for the legendary Boo Ferriss at Delta State, compiled a 679-175 record in 23 years as a head coach, including having five state championship and three runner-up teams.  Along the way, his teams finished a perfect 43-0 and won 51 straight games.

2010 Rosters Set; New Faces On Hand For 2nd CSBL Season

The 2010 rosters for the 5-team North Division of the BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League have been set.

Twenty-four (24) players are returning to the BNA CSBL in 2010 for a second season, but sixty-six (66) new faces will take their first turn in the CSBL. For example, a trio of D1 players from Collierville, Tennessee, will make their debut with the GT Jets this season. Brothers Daniel Millhouse from the University of Memphis and Brandon Millhouse from Arkansas State along with Evan Frazier from Tennessee Tech will take the field for the Jets when their collegiate seasons end.
