2010 Rosters Set; New Faces On Hand For 2nd CSBL Season

The 2010 rosters for the 5-team North Division of the BNA Bank Cotton States Baseball League have been set.

Twenty-four (24) players are returning to the BNA CSBL in 2010 for a second season, but sixty-six (66) new faces will take their first turn in the CSBL.  For example, a trio of D1 players from Collierville, Tennessee, will make their debut with the GT Jets this season.  Brothers Daniel Millhouse from the University of Memphis and Brandon Millhouse from Arkansas State along with Evan Frazier from Tennessee Tech will take the field for the Jets when their collegiate seasons end.  The Jets are made up entirely of newcomers to the league in 2010 while the Tupelo Thunder has only one returning player – Northwest CC’s Ethan Bright.  The Tallahatchie Rascals boast the largest contingent of returnees with ten (10) while the Tippah Tribe will roster eight (8) second-year players.

The North Delta DealersTallahatchie Rascals, Golden Triangle JetsTupelo Thunder and the expansion Tippah County Tribe will begin league play June 1st.

Team workouts will begin at the New Albany Sportsplex on Monday, May 24th, when the Tupelo Thunder will hold the league's first practice of 2010 at 5:00 pm.  The Jets will workout at the same time on Tuesday, while the Dealers and Tribe will follow on Wednesday and Thursday.  All workouts will be open to the public.
